Frances Tiafoe Jr. (/tiˈɑːfoʊ/ tee-AH-foh; born January 20, 1998) is an American professional tennis player. He has been ranked by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) as high as No. 29 in the world in singles on 11 February 2019. His career-high ranking in doubles is No. 160 achieved on 1 November 2021. Tiafoe won his first ATP title at the 2018 Delray Beach Open and became the youngest American man to win a title on the ATP Tour since Andy Roddick in 2002. The son of Sierra Leonean immigrants, Tiafoe was raised at the Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC), a USTA regional training center, in Maryland where his father worked as the head of maintenance. His unique background and success as a teenager led him to be widely regarded as a great prospect to become one of the next tennis stars for the United States. Tiafoe first broke into the Top 100 of the ATP rankings in 2016. With his victory at the 2018 Delray Beach Open, he became the youngest American title-holder on the ATP Tour since Andy Roddick in 2002. Tiafoe’s best performance at a Grand Slam event came at the 2019 Australian Open, where he reached the quarterfinals.

Tommy Paul (born May 17, 1997) is an American professional tennis player. Paul has a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 43 achieved on 15 November 2021 and doubles ranking of No. 150 achieved on 24 May 2021. He won his maiden ATP title at the 2021 Stockholm Open. Tommy Paul has always been one of the highest ranked juniors of his class. Paul reached a career-high ITF junior rank of No. 3 on December 9, 2015.
